I always said, “I don’t invest in art, I invest in Artists!”
I was always very proud (and a little humbled) to have a wall full of my friends’ art. It made for a very eclectic mix of style and memories.
So I was very sad the day it all had to come down.
Fortunately, I had the foresight and wherewithal (like my boujee words?) to photograph and create magnets.
The van has no metal inside so I had the foresight (etc) to have a sheet of metal attached to the pass-through door.
Voila! (Pardon my French)
Friend Wall 2 is born!
It’s nice to bring my friends along for the ride!
PS if any of my art friends have magnets, let me know. Most of these artists did not.
PPS BUY your friend’s art… they need your support more than you need free stuff.
